Right then all senior players. It's time to buck up our ideas on the playing field and training field. Who are we trying to kid, it's easy to sit in the club after a game and say if only this happened or if only that happened. Why do we have to wait for something to happen lets spark things ourselves. We have six games to save this season. I don't want to get relegated and b in the league we worked our balls off to get out of. We need to look at ourselves, each individual and show the same commitment the same as Ian Rees and Keith has done. Lets show what we can do, stay in this league and give Creepy a Base to work from next season starting now. So Tonna seniors get your arses training on tuesday and thursday and turn round a crap season, I'm Guilty of not being fully committed and so are you players and supporters. Lets all get out there and back the club especially the supporters we need you all, your all quick enough to turn up when we were on top of our game. Tonna till we die if we don't.

Great result for the Tonna Tigers against Loughor on the weekend (6-2). Given the Tigers have not played for six weeks due to bad weather their rucks and mauls were superb. As a team the boys have to be commended on their determination to succeed whatever the weather. The Tigers are turning into a formidable force and have developed significantly since last year. Great job boys keep up the hard work. Many thanks to Roy and Rob for developing the squad further this year and motivating the boys to enjoy their rigby which is what it is all about.

Unfortunately after weeks of squad numbers up and down, we have have to make the call to disband our Under 13's side for this season.
This was not taken lightly and we carried on training over the summer and throughout September. With players leaving our squad from last season for various reasons, it was always going to be hard. However with the core of young talented boys we carried on. Numbers have always been hard, with a growing number of boys aged 11 and 12 playing a year up.
A big thank you to all the boys old and new, the mums and dads for all the support and help over the past few seasons.
A special mention needs to go the following boys who have played for the mini's and juniors since they were 6 and 7.
"Aled, Dan, Ellis , Kyle, Josh, Matthew."
Remember boys we need you back in Tonna Colours when you start playing Youth Rugby
All the Very Best!!

To all parents and boys who have lost the opportunity to play rugby with the demise of Tonna under 13s/12s through lack of players, I have spoken to Bryncoch tonight and they are happy to accept ALL our 12 yr olds to play for them, they are training this Wednesday 23rd September at Bryncoch rugby Club at 6pm. They currently have 15 - 17 boys in the under 12s and would welcome more to their team, I spoke to one of the junior coaches and was pleased to hear their attitude is that the kids enjoy the game and if they win all the better but the enjoyment is the main thing, same as with Tonna with Stuart and Paul.
On that point I would like to give huge thanks to both Paul and Stuart for their dedication and hard work over the last few years, I hope they can do the same with the little ones following behind.
